This wine estate is located on a beach, on the east side of the island, between Kamari and Monolithos hamlets. Its industrial stone building was once a tomato factory, built at the beginning of the 1900´s and was used up until the 1970´s for making aromatic tomato purée from local cherry tomatoes. Today, it has been transformed into a modern winery with high-tech equipment and cutting-edge facilities that guarantee contemporary winemaking and ideal conditions for high-quality production.
It was established in 1903, but the Argyros family has been involved in wine production for decades before that. It is the largest private owner of vineyards in Santorini and the current landholdings exceed 120 ha, a vast, four-generations-long investment.
